Hi I am interested in finding out more about events in Malaysia, but do not speak Malay.
Anyone speak english in here?
Also, I am interested in buying a classic Vespa and perhaps selling my exisiting one and am wondering what I should expect to pay for one (and what I can expect to obtain for mine). If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Max

I'm able to converse in both English and Malay fluently but I'm from the South i.e. not a Malaysian but across the Causeway i.e. Singapore. Despite that, my relatives are strewn all over Peninsula Malaysia from Johore Bahru till up north Butterworth, Penang.

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome, I too am living in Singapore at the moment but my Vespa is in KL, so I miss her quite a bit at times. Hence my dilema, do I keep her in Malaysia, or try to sell her?
Sentimental value...you know what I mean....hard to let go..
Lord - No problem with your english..thanks for conversing with me....any events coming up in Malaysia this year end?
Would love to attend a Vespa/Lambretta gathering, esp if in Johor...closer to Singapore...he..he
Cheers
Max

Since she's safe in KL, let her be there. She's priceless by now....By the way, you could get in touch with me. I frequent JB every weekend for the "fuel-up" and staying only 10km away from JB town, Choa Chu Kang to be precise.....Give me a ring whenever you're free. Ciao!

Heya Sans, What are you riding? Max Mine is a '72 Piaggio Vespa Sprint. My '61 VBB got stolen last year in JB. Mechanic refused to acknowledge the loss, stating I was to be blamed due to leaving the scooter too long in his possession w/o informing him...Shucks! It wouldn't help in the Police Report either as the scoot was not transferred of its ownership to my name! Double BALONEY for me!!!

Bummer...sorry to hear about the VBB..I hate to say this but I have heard of many similar horror stories...personally I have never had any problems in Malaysia, but the number of horror stories that go around..it's enough to put off most people (unfortunately)...
Am actually heading up this weekend to see my Vespa. I'm going to ride her down to Muar and leave her at my in-laws place..
Am looking forward to the ride...spend half a day riding..should be good...hopefully weather holds up....

The road conditions nowadays "may" not permit safe riding....You know what I mean.
